2010 Family Christmas Moments

I just wanted to share a few moments from our family Christmases. We had an exciting, fun filled- and a little exhausting- December 25th. Devan and I woke up at 3:30am for stockings at our house and then Izzy joined us at 4am to open gifts from Santa and mom & dad. By 5:30am, we were on the road to Devan's parents' house where we spent Christmas morning. Around 2:00pm, we arrived at my parents' house for Christmas afternoon. We had a great day with all of our family and we just posted a few of our favorite moments below.

Izzy's Christmas Eve

Izzy was so adorable on Christmas Eve this year! She really started getting into trees, decorations and of course presents! I always have fun dressing her up but I thought she looked so grown up in her Christmas Eve dress. Can you believe she is still only one year old?

Ode to Birthdays!

OK- so I know that November is a really cool month to be born. One of the coolest people you know- ie Mwah- is born in November. However, Devan and I have an especially busy November, December and January for birthdays. In addition to my bday on the 10th and his mom's bday on the 21st, we have 6 other birthdays for a grand total of 8! That's right- eight wonderful birthdays! With Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and Epiphany added to the mix, we basically have 3 months of partying. Below is a little ode to our year-end bday celebrations.

Alicia- November 10th
Mayra (My bro's new wife)- November 16th
Shelley- November 21st
Colton- December 5th
Lilly- December 13th
Peggy (Alicia's Godmother)- December 13th
(Note December 13th is also the anniversary of when Devan proposed to me in 2000)
Gil- December 19th
Chris- January 18th

Shelley's Fabulous Bday

We had a chance to spend breakfast with Devan's parents on his mom's birthday this year. It was a beautiful winter morning at La Caille. They even provided a very special candle in honor of this occasion.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving is always one of my most favorite holidays. This year, we had a quite morning at home and cooked a mini-dinner ourselves so we would have plenty of leftovers. The three of us even sat at Izzy's table this year. In the afternoon, we headed over to Devan's parents house where my family was also waiting. We had a great time and there was a ton of food. That night, we had out tradition of looking through the ads for our holiday shopping extravaganza the next day. It was a great day.

Alicia's 31st Bday- 2010

Ok- so I know it's been a little while since I blogged and I'm planning to be a lot better this year. The holidays kicked my butt this year (forgive the French) :) and I'm ready for everything to get a little more back to normal. This is my 31st birthday post- with pictures from my family/Ryagr party and when we went out with our other awesome friends- the Clarks. We went to Incredible Pizza for the Fam/Rygar party and it was so fun! It was a great place for all of the kids to play. Devan decorated our kitchen for cake and presents afterward with a scrapbook-style theme- which of course I loved. It was great. My birthday started off the first of 7 November/December birthdays we have this time of year. I know- CRAZY!!! Here are a few of the highlights from this first event.
