Adriana's XXth Birthday!

Our wonderful friend, Adriana celebrated her XXth birthday this year. (I promised I wouldn't tell anyone she turned 30!) We had an amazing time at La Caille for brunch. I'm a firm believer that your 30's are awesome- mainly because I am 30- but I really do believe it. Adriana looks so beautiful in these pictures. We are so glad we could celebrate this birthday with her.

Oregon 2010

We had an amazing time visiting Gold Beach, Oregon with both of our families over the 4th of July. I had such a hard time picking the best photos so I have pasted some below and then included a slideshow for the rest. (You can click the pictures in the slideshow to see them bigger in Picasa.) We went running along the coast almost every day and we found some awesome treasures. It's definitely one of our favorite places to vacation.

Arts Festival 2010

We ALWAYS love going to the Utah Arts Festival. This year, we went this year with my family and Devan's mom. While we were eating our dinner, we ran into Adriana and Ryan (Izzy's godparents). We had a great time seeing all of the booths and sampling the food. We thought Izzy would love this booth with puppets but as you can see, she was terrified. It was still cute though. We would definitely recommend this awesome event.

Devan's MS 150 Ride

On June 26th, Devan rode 75 miles for the MS 150 bike ride in Logan, Utah. It was a great cause and I was so proud of him for riding so far. Izzy and I wore Goldman Sachs colors to cheer on the entire team. This is one of the largest rides in the country and we will definitely be supporting it again.

Alicia's Stonehenge

I recently had an amazing opportunity to travel to London with my company. I had no idea that Stonehenge was only 30 minutes from our office there. One of my colleagues was kind enough to take me one night- albeit by driving on the opposite side of the rode- but it was so incredible and mysterious. The stones are perfectly aligned to view both the summer and winter solstice sunsets through the rocks. The experts still aren't entirely sure how the people of 3500 years ago were able to move rocks of that size so many miles. The stones served as a temple that was added to for over 1000 years. I would highly recommend that everyone visit this place at least once in their life.

Our Hockey Girl

Izzy loves to cheer on Devan at his hockey games- she even has her own jersey! This was the last game of the season and Devan was the highest scorer in the league. Izzy was definitely his best cheerleader!

Mother's Day and Father's Day- Belated

I know it's a little late but I thought I would share some of my favorite pics from Mother's Day and Father's Day in 2010. Devan and I spent my day at the Grand America in May and then we visited both of our mom's. In June, we had a Father's Day brunch for Devan on our patio and then visited Devan's dad and brother. My dad was climbing Mt. Shasta so we had breakfast with him a week later. We had a great time at all of the events.

Bubbles

Izzy loves watching people blow bubbles and finally got to the point where she wanted to do it herself. I figured she was way too young to master the art of bubble blowing at a mere 14 months. But, I thought it wouldn't hurt to let her try. Well, she showed me! After about 10 minutes of practice, my little smarty pants actually started blowing her own bubbles! I posted a video of one of the first ones she actually did on her own. It was awesome.
