Yummy

We started feeding Izzy rice cereal for the first time last month and she loves it! It is so cute to watch her experience new tastes and textures. We have since made our own sweet potato puree that she like too! I told her it will taste much better with marshmallows on top. We like to put her in her own special chair on the kitchen counter that also has a fun rain forrest toy she gets to play with before and after she eats. I have two cookbooks that show you how to make your own baby food so I am really excited to try some of the recipes. How hard can mush really be?

A Lava Lava Birthday

We had a great time in Lava Hot Springs (Idaho) for Devan's brother's (Dustin's) birthday. It was also Izzy's first time camping. She did considerably better than her godmother did the first time we took her camping. :)

Grandma's Birthday in Snowbird

We celebrated my mom's birthday in Snowbird this year. It was so beautiful!

Weeeeeeeeee! Giggle Giggle!

Although Izzy can't quite jump yet in her "Sassy" jumper, she can certainly swing. She giggled constantly while Dad swung her from the wings. Of course, mom was behind the camera to catch it all on film.

My First Haircut!

Who would have thought that our little girl would need a haircut at 4 1/2 months! She was so good and looked so cute- both before and after!

Devan's 30th Bday- Part 3- Diego & Party

The night of Devan's 30th birthday was so much fun! We had dinner at Diego- a great Mexican restaurant- and then partied it up at Studio 54 with our friends. The night ended with a little gambling too and the craps table had an incredible shooter- if I do say so myself! Devan definitely knows how to throw a great party and this was an awesome way to spend our last night in Vegas. (We also want to send a special thank you to the grandparents who babysat that night for all of us too!)

We all went to the Rain Forrest Cafe before we saw KA in Las Vegas for Devan's birthday. He and I could not help but show Izzy this friendly elephant!

Devan's 30th Bday- Part 1- The pool!

Devan's 30th Birthday bash in Vegas was SO much fun! We had an awesome time- even though Devan was a "little" sick on Saturday. These pictures are from the pool on both Friday and Saturday. We reserved two cabanas on Saturday and had a premium spot next to the Lazy River at the MGM- which helped with the 110 degree heat! I guess when Devan's in town- Vegas heats up!

Flying Kicks

Izzy went to Lagoon for the first time in July! Although she can't go on any rides yet, she and Devan did some flying kicks that were just as fun!





















And just in case you were worried about the heat, Izzy's Stroller has been equipped with her very own fan thanks to Grammy T!

Our Fashion Diva

One of the best things about little girls is dressing them in tons of little outfits! Izzy seems to have some many cute clothes that she typically only wears them once or twice before growing out of them. I wanted to make sure I took some shots of some of my favorites and as you can see, she didn't mind at all! She's a little Fashion Diva and we LOVE it!

4th of July 2009

We had so much fun on Izzy's first 4th of July. Grandma and Grandpa G had a pool party at their house. We had lots of family and friends join us. It was a "blast!"
